This morning, my brother Finnegan woke up really early, and taught me what it means to look for surprises that the Easter Bunny left in our house. I can't wit until next year when I get to race around looking for the Easter eggs! Happy Easter everyone.

Big Brother

This is my big brother Finnegan! He was so excited to get to see me. He also had a lot of fun playing in the hospital bed, and drinking out of mom's super size sippy cup.

With dad's help, Finnegan got to hold me. He was very careful not to drop me, and he worked extra hard to be gentle. He did have to show me how strong he was and that he could lift me up all by himself.

He gave me kisses, and told me he is excited for me to be in the family.

I am proud of Finnegan!

Merritt's First Visitors

On Friday, I had several friends and family come by and say hello. It was very fun to meet all of you!

My brother Finnegan came by to see me too! He has been staying with our grandparents while I was busy being born. I new his voice when he first came into the room, and I couldn't have missed the big note on the front of his t-shirt indicating that he is Big Brother! Finnegan came right up and gave me a kiss.

Cousin Jessie... she even stuck around and helped change my diaper. Cousin Jessie reported that I have several more cousins, aunts, uncles and a grandma that can't wait to wrap their arms around me! I can't wait either.

A Wonderful World

Here is my story...I may have been a week past my delivery date, but on April 9th, the time was right and I was ready to enter this world! We all chilled out for a few hours waiting around in the morning...
